In today’s print edition, Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport have highlighted Inter manager Antonio Conte’s lack of reliance on substitutes since the season got back underway last month.

In every single game since the Serie A season has resumed, Inter’s opponents substitutes have been on the pitch longer than Inter’s subs in terms of minutes played. Overall, opposition substitutes have spent three hours more on the field than Inter’s have.

The Milan based news outlet go on to explain that in the six games Inter have played since the season started up again, Nerazzurri substitutes have had a combined 466 minutes on the field. The opponents substitutes have meanwhile been on the park for 648 minutes, a difference of 182 minutes.

Former Italian national team manager Conte has come in for some criticism for his lack of usage of substitutions and it remains to be seen whether he will change his ways in the remainder of the season with regard to his usage of substitutions.
