AC Milan are trying to hijack Brescia’s Italian international midfielder Sandro Tonali from Inter Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported on air moments ago.

According to the report, incoming coach and Sporting Director Ralf Rangnick has identified Tonali as his top target this summer, and the player would not say no to a move to the Rossoneri.

Inter have an agreement with the player, the report continues, and talks between Tonali and Juventus are in stand-by at the minute.

The Nerazzurri are yet to find an agreement with Brescia owner Massimo Cellino over Tonali and Di Marzio reports that Inter are not closing the deal, which has afforded Milan this window of opportunity.

Di Marzio reports that Milan have a budget of €75 million this summer to sign new players and given that Cellino is asking for €50 million cash, should the Rossoneri pay that, it does not allow for much room to spend on other players.

So the Milan are studying what a deal could cost and how long it would take to conclude the deal.
