Inter are looking at the possibility of signing two players from Chelsea, namely French striker Olivier Giroud as well as Italian international wing-back Emerson Palmier, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported on air moments ago.

According to the report, Inter continue to call the agents of the French striker and could soon reopen talks with Chelsea over the possibility of signing Giroud. This past January Inter were keen on signing the Frenchman but in the end Chelsea decided to activate the option they had to extend the player’s contract by 12 months.

The report continues that the Nerazzurri are also very keen on signing Giroud’s teammate Emerson Palmieri, whom Inter are yet to make an official offer but next week talks could accelerate, the report continues.

Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, reports further that the player has already accepted a move to Inter and that the Nerazzurri are waiting for the right moment to begin talks with Chelsea.

The Gazzetta continues that Inter evaluate the player at around €20-25 million and that “Emerson Palmieri is together with Sandro Tonali the player closest to signing for Inter” in coming weeks.
