Manchester United are unwilling to agree to a new loan deal for Alexis Sanchez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Chilean national team forward joined Inter on a season long loan this past Summer and the loan was recently extended until the end of the Serie A season, which is ending later due to the Coronavirus crisis.

Inter are keen on keeping Sanchez with the club past the end of the season but this report warns that Manchester United do not want to loan out the former Barcelona and Arsenal star again and want to get rid of him on a permanent basis.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to add that Sanchez’s €12 million a year wages represent a major obstacle in United’s bid to get rid of Sanchez, who has two goals and six assists in 21 appearances for Inter.
