Inter would be open to selling Diego Godin this summer but have no intention of giving up on Christian Eriksen, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Dane has struggled to adapt to coach Antonio Conte’s tactical system since arriving in a deal worth €20 million from Tottenham in January. The player has not particularly impressed so far, despite Conte’s tinkering with the formation, changing it from a 3-5-2 to a 3-4-1-2 to better accommodate the player. Inter will not sell him under any circumstances.

Despite his poor performances, the Milanese club would not like to sell Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona this summer, the report continues, but are waiting to see what will happen at the end of the season. In regard to Godin, the Uruguayan veteran has struggled to adapt to Conte’s back three this season and a departure this summer seems likely, with Inter prepared to let him leave for free.
