Kwadwo Asamoah will be included in Inter’s squad list for the latter stages of the Europa League according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Ghanaian defender has not featured for Inter since mid-December, due largely in part to a recurring knee injury but he is now recovered and will take the place of the injured Matias Vecino in Inter’s squad list.

Asamoah has been back training alongside his teammates for some time now but cannot force things too much in terms of the workload he takes on.

The report goes on to explain that on loan Alexis Sanchez will also be included on the squad list despite his future with the club remaining up in the air.

Sanchez’s loan deal from Manchester United is due to expire on August 5, the day of Inter’s Europa League last 16 clash with Getafe, and without a loan extension or permanent deal being agreed, Inter could be forced to do without him if they get past Getafe.

Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing and the deal could come alive from Monday.
