The presence of Inter president Steven Zhang is important when it comes to Inter manager Antonio Conte’s future according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

After Inter’s win over Atalanta on the final day of the Serie A season in the past few weeks, Conte launched a scathing attack against the club’s executives and his future in charge of the Nerazzurri club is understood to be up in the air.

Prior to Inter’s Europea League campaign commencing a truce was reached and it was agreed that there would be a meeting at the end of the season to discuss his concerns and his future as manager of the club, who he took charge of ahead of this season on a three year deal.

“Clarification will be necessary. His statements were harsh towards the executives. They left their mark,” Di Marzio explained whilst present in the studios of Sky Sport Italia a short while ago.

“Steven Zhang’s presence, who will meet with Conte after the Europa League, is important.”

Since taking charge of Inter, former Italian national team boss Conte has managed the club in 51 matches across all competitions to date, of which he has won 31, drawn 12 and lost just eight.
