Young Inter forward Rigoberto Rivas is set for a move away from the Giuseppe Meazza on a permanent basis, with Serie B side agreeing personal terms with the player.

This according to today’s print edition of Southern Italian newspaper Gazzetta del Sud, who report that the Honduran will sign a three-year contract with the Calabrian club.

The final green light from Inter is still awaited on the deal, and it remains to be seen what the exact terms of the agreement between clubs will be.

However, Reggina’s president expressed confidence that his club would sign four players forthcoming when speaking to Reggina TV as reported by FCInterNews, and Rivas is presumed to be among them.

The 22-year-old has been on loan in Calabria from Inter since 2019, and with the Nerazzurri having considered the Honduran’s future recently it appears that a conclusion is near.

Rivas initially joined Inter from Italian side Prato in 2017.
