Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck has reportedly attracted the interest of several top clubs around Europe.

The 23-year-old joined the Nerazzurri last summer as a relative unknown following a spell with Aarhus in the Danish top flight.

The German initially struggled to earn playing time at Simone Inzaghi’s court. However, he slowly but surely proved himself to be a competent and reliable backup for Benjamin Pavard.

This season, Bisseck’s status at the club has been rapidly growing. He even got the nod in the Champions League encounter against Man City, and helped the club register a clean sheet.

And with Pavard yet to find his optimal level, the Germany U21 starlet could earn more opportunities in the coming weeks.

So according to Il Corriere dello Sport via FcInterNews, Bisseck’s rise hasn’t gone unnoticed around Europe.

The Roman newspaper doesn’t name any of the suitors. However, it insists that several clubs are keeping track of his development.

Hence, it remains to be seen if the Nerazzurri will be looking to armor their young centre-back with a new contract.

Bisseck’s current deal is valid until June 2028. However, he remains one of the club’s lowest earners.

Therefore, the management could decide to rectify his contract, offering him a comprehensive pay rise.

In the meantime, Inzaghi will be looking to rely on the services of the Koln native, especially with Pavard suffering a decline.

As the source tells it, the Frenchman is dealing with mental issues rather than physical ones.

The 29-year-old was part of France’s Euro 2024 squad last summer. However, Didier Deschamps kept him on the bench in favor of Jules Kounde.

In the previous international break, the Nerazzurri defender didn’t even receive a call-up from Les Bleus.
