After this seasons training was concluded at Appiano Gentile, the following 10 Inter-players have been called by their respective nationalteams to take part in friendly matches or qualification fixtures for the 2014 World Cup.

Samir Handanovic and Vid Belec (Slovenia): Friendly against Turkey on Friday 31 May in Bielefeld, Germany at 19.00 as well as a World Cup Qualifier away to Iceland on Friday 7 June in Reykjavik at 19.00.

Mateo Kovacic (Croatia):  World Cup Qualifier against Scotland Friday 7 June in Zagreb, at 20.15.

Rodrigo Palacio (Argentina):  World Cup Qualifier against Colombia on Friday 7 June in Buenos Aires at 19.05 local time as well as a  World Cup Qualifier away to Ecuador on Tuesday 11 June in Quito, at 16.00 local time.

Fredy Guarin (Colombia):  World Cup Qualifier away against Argentina on Friday 7 June in Buenos Aires at 19.05 local time as well as a  World Cup Qualifier at home against Peru on Tuesday 11 June in Barranquilla, at 15.30 local time.

Zdravko Kuzmanovic (Serbia):  World Cup Qualifier away against Belgium in Brussels at the Stade Boudewijn at 20.45.

Andrea Ranocchia (Italy): Friendly fixture against San Marino  in Bologna at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, at 20.45 followed by the announcement of the sqaud list for the 23 players to take part in the Confederation Cup on Monday 3 June.

Walter Gargano och Alvaro Pereira (Uruguay): Friendly at home against Frannce on Wednesday 5 June followed by a  World Cup Qualifier away to Venezuela on Tuesday 11 June,at 19.30 local time.

Yuto Nagatomo (Japan): Friendly fixture in the Kirin Challenge Cup at home against Bulgaria on Thursday 30 May in Aichi, Toyota Stadium, at 19.20 local time followed by a  World Cup Qualifier at home against Australia on Tuesday 4 June, Saitama Stadium, at 19.30 local time before facing Iraq in Doha on Tuesday 11 June in the  World Cup Qualifiers. After that it’s time for the Confederations Cup which begins on June 15.
