Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio spoke with Premium Sport shedding some light on rumours surrounding the Nerazzurri’s actions in the upcoming transfer window.
“I think it will be difficult to get Verratti from PSG, he’s a high level player in a club that is one of the richest in the world and who doesn’t seem to have selling players in their DNA. Pinamonti? We’re talking, the boy is concentrated. What matters is the technical side as well as the financial side of the project, the boy knows this and will be part of the first team until the end of the season.”
“My contract renewal? I haven’t signed yet, we’re still talking but what matters is the joy of working together, at least from my side. These past few days there have been signals, I’m expecting the arrival of certain people and if there is a will then there are no problems. Rodriguez? We’re working, we can’t not think about June, Rodriguez is one of the players we’re monitoring but we’re not that far ahead in our talks, we have met with a lot of players, when the time is right we will see who we will move forward with. Perisic to leave? I don’t think that is neither his nor our intention, I think he is very happy here. Inter is building something big here and Perisic is part of the project. We don’t want to sell our best players and we have no intention to even imagine an Inter without Perisic. We’re working to improve the squad” Ausilio concludes.
