Speaking to TMW Radio, Pierpaolo Bisoli, former Luciano Spalletti teammate, spoke extensively of the opportunities that the Italian manager will get at Inter next season:

“I think he’s one of the best, he would be ideal for Inter. He knows how to coach his teams to give them an identity. Character could limit you but it gives you strength too. He goes down his own path without compromise. When it comes to managing a group you can’t say anything against him. People talk about Francesco Totti but that was a special and complicated situation.”

Which challenge is harder Roma or Inter?

“Roma is difficult, but just as Milan. I think for the settling of a coach, it’s essential to have the support of the fans. Inter definitely are strong economically. But at the level of experience in Italian football, they are far behind. Spalletti in Rome has had his days, you can’t do more than what he’s done. It will be hard to beat Juve next season. I think that after 3-4 years in Italy you have to change. Go somewhere where you can be a Savior, then the results will tell whether he did well or not.”
