Tuttosport have examined possible reasons behind Luciano Spalletti departing Roma and opting for Inter as his next job. The first reason being, Spalletti may feel he has taken the club as far as possible having gotten them a record points total and still not managed to topple Juventus. Another reason is the whole Francesco Totti situation. The failure of the January transfer window is also behind Spalletti’s exit. Finally from an Inter side of things, they are the only club with the economic power who can realistically challenge Juventus.
