Croatian media outlet Jutarnij List report that Everton have had an offer of €18 million declined by Inter for Marcelo Brozovic.

The report confirms earlier reports from Gazzetta dello Sport that Inter declined the Toffee’s offer for the croatian midfielder as the Nerazzurri are holding out for an offer in the region of €20-25 million to arrive. This should hardly put off Everton who have so far spent €55 million this transfer window on duo Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen when combining both transfer fee’s and the player’s signing on bonuses.

Marcelo Brozovic has been rumored to leave Inter for quite some time now with Goal.com linking him with a move to Manchester United with compatriot Ivan Perisic. Although the link to Old Trafford has cooled down, the rumors linking Brozovic with a summer exit from Inter have not cooled down. If aforementioned reports are to be believed, there is less than €5 million separating Inter’s asking price with Everton’s offer and so Brozovic day’s as an Inter player’s are slowly but surely coming to an end.
