In an interview in Corriere dello Sport Mattia Destro talked about his future. Destro admits he is concerned about not getting any space in a big club such as Inter and that continuity is important for a young player like himself:

“Inter is a difficult discussion. I have always had a soldier’s obedience, and it has certainly been good for me to play and gain experience with a smaller club. At Inter it is always difficult for a young person to get space. Traditionally, the team that starts out at the top and finishes at the top also does so when it comes to the level of the organization and in the level of the targets. If I went back now? I need to come to a team that allows me to play. I do not want to seem arrogant, but I realize that I can play an important role in the toughest league in the world. I will continue in a team that has confidence in me.”
