The newspaper Ovacion reports that the player in the near future instead will sign a contract with Brazilian Internacional of Porto Alegre. The newspaper claims that this option is the most likely since Forlan coming to a city near Montevideo and will receive a salary of around two million euros per season for a two year contract.
