Coutinho spoke shortly to the journalists after having presented the new shirts for the coming season:
“I am very happy to be back at Inter and to be a part of this group. I want to prove what I can do, with Inter. My intention is to play, and if I can do it with Inter it’s better. I grew a lot in Espanyol and I return now stronger and better after a nice and positive experience. I feel better and more convinced, earlier I lacked a bit of this conviction. The new Inter is coming. The brazilians leaving? They’re great champions and I’ll miss them because they are my friends, but Inter are creating an Important team.”
