A couple of days ago reports came from the Serbian newsportal Novosti about Inters intrest in Udineses Serbian fullback Dusan Basta, a potential replacement for Maicon. Andrea Stramaccioni is suppose to like Bastas qualities and there is a possibility for a transfer as soon as January. But nothing more than an interest from the Inter-coach at this point. Novosti also claims that the Nerazzurri can be challenged hard in the hunt for Basta by Arsenal who also kept thier eyes on Basta for a long time. But Inter is said to be in pole position. The price-tag? Around six million euros.
