Nine Inter players have been selected for national team duty for the next 2 weeks. Below you can read who they are and which fixtures they will be taking part in:
Andrea Ranocchia (Italy): Is playing in a WC-qualifying match away to Armenia, in Yerevan friday 12th October at 19.oo local time as well as against Denmark at home in Milan at stadio “Giuseppe Meazza”, tuesday 16th October, at 20.45.
Matteo Bianchetti (Italy U-21): Is going to face off with the Swedish U-21 team in a final 2 match play-off to qualify for the U-21 European Championships to be decided next year in Israel. The 2 fixtures will be played on friday 12th October in Pescara at the Stadio “Adriatico”, at 21.oo and the return leg is scheduled for tuesday 16th October in Kalmar on Guldfågeln Arena, at 18.00.
Fredy Guarin (Colombia): Will face Paraguay in a WC-qualifying match on friday 12th October in Barranquilla at the Metropolitano Roberto Melendez, at 15.30 local time as well as a friendly against Cameroon.
Walter Gargano & Alvaro Pereira (Uruguay): are going to play 2 difficult WC-qualifying matches, first against Argentina on friday 12th October in Mendoza at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas, at 21.00 local time, and also against Bolivia on tuesday 16th October in La Paz at the Hernando Siles, at 16.00 local time.
Samir Handanovic (Slovenien): is also involved in 2 WC qualifiers, the first being againt Cyprus on friday 12th October in Maribor at the Ljudski VRT at 20:45, and the second is away to Albania on tuesday 16th October in Tirana at the Qemal Stafa Stadium, at 20.45.
Yuto Nagatomo (Japan): Is playing 2 friendlies, first against France on friday 12th of October in Paris at the Stade du France at 21.00 and the second match will be against Brazil on tuesday 16th October in Polish city of Wroclaw at 19.00.
Joel Obi (Nigeria): is involved in an African Cup of Nations qualifying fixture with Liberia on saturday 13th October.
Marko Livaja (Croatia U-20): is taking part in the “Under 20 regional competition” (former Mirop Cup), where he and his teammates will play a team consisting ofthe best players from Lega Pro Italia (former Serie C & D) on wednesday 10th October in Portogruaro at 14.30.
