Agent Mario Miele: “Inter already have a deal with Paulinho”

Corinthians and Brazil midfielder Paulinho was heavily linked with Inter during the summer’s transfer window but reportedly stated he didnt want to leave the Brazilian outfit with whom he won the Copa Libertadores, due to the fact that he wanted to try and win the FIFA Club World Cup which will be decided in december. Inter’s interest for teh player has not cooled down and Ilsussidario.net interviewed noted FIFA agent Mario Miele regarding his views on where Paulinho will end up come January: “At this moment the player is fully concentrated on trying to win the Club World Cup, however in January I think he will be available for a transfer. I think that a deal between the parties has already been made in principle, all that is lacking is to formalise the deal. Inter are at a clear advantage here as there are other clubs who want the player, but Inter are in pole position. Personally I think Inter are more in need of a deep-lying playmaker whereas Paulinho is more of a box-to-box type of player, however his adaptibility is somethign that will be decided by the coach” Miele concludes.
