In Turin, a street dedicated to Gaetano Scirea, the Juventus icon who tragically died in a car accident in 1989, was inaugurated today. During the opening ceremony Juventus president Andrea Agnelli held a speech where he took the opportunity to indirectly send a message to Inter by saying that “Torino is the only club who like Juventus have won five Scudetti in a row.”
However, everybody else knows that Inter also has won five Scudetti in a row, between 2006 and 2010. Inter icon Marco Materazzi who was involved in all these victories replied to Agnelli via Twitter by posting a photo of the five titles Inter won during 2010 and the text: “There are those who win five titles in five years and there are those who win five titles one year.”
