Alfredo Pedullà writes on his blog about the situation for Wesley Sneijder to Galatasaray:

“They say Istanbul is a nice town, why shouldn’t Sneijder go there? His wife likes the town and keeps tweeting about all different destinations and towns. But we’re talking about football and a champion like Sneijder, surely Istanbul is nice but please, the appeal of the turkish league is very low. Here’s the problem for Galatasaray. Inter are hoping to cash in ten million euros, but Sneijder isn’t a tourist who’ll visit Istanbul for fun, he’s a footballer and therefore it won’t be easy to convince him.”
