Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter have accelerated their move for Corinthians and Brazil international midfielder Paulinho by presenting an official offer of 15 million € cash to sign the player now in January. According to the newspaper, Inter have presented the player with an offer of 2,5 million € per season for an as of yet unknown number of seasons. Paulinho has a minimum release-fee clause of 18 million € but the Inter-directors are confident that the current offer which is 3 million € short of activating the clause will suffice to convince Corinthians to part ways with the player.
