On Inter’s list of potential goalkeepers that could act as Vice Handanovic, other than Carrizo and Curci, is also Novara’s former goalkeeper Alberto “Jimmy” Fontana. According to Corriere dello Sport, the 39-year-old free agent could be a future reserve to Handanovic.
Fontana was banned for three years and six months in june 2012 for his involvement in the fixed match between Chievo and Novara in 2010. In November 2012, he was acquitted.
