Diego Milito was interviewed by Mediaset Premium and was very happy after the victory:
“I’m very happy since I came back after a month on the side, you suffer a lot when you’re not playing. We played a very good game against a good team. We’ve had a period with difficulties, we have had many injuries and important players have been missing. The mercato was going on and new players arrived, but today we won which was important. The derby? Now we’re thinking about thurday, it’s a game against Cluj that we can’t underestimate. After that we’ll face Fiorentina and we’ll go step by step. Today we took an important win which will charge us enough to keep on going.”
Milito talked to Sky as well where he added:
“We’re happy more than for me, I’m happy to be back on the field after a month. It was an important win, we must continue like this and this is the way to go. We met a strong team like Chievo, but we did the game we had to and we’re happy. A return to Argentina? I’m happy here in Milan, I owe a lot to these supporters and I want to respect my contract until 2014. Then we’ll have to see what the club wants to do, but I feel perfect here.”
