Massimo Moratti was caught by reporters outside his office and analyzed, as usual, the previous day’s match, the weak performance in Florence: “There is not much to comment on, there was just one team that went out on the pitch. One can only talk about Fiorentina and that’s the way it goes.”
When asked about Stramaccioni, Moratti took the role as defender: “I don’t blame him. This year he has experienced something different compared to the before and can make mistakes. I don’t think all the blame is his. It can’t be only his fault, there are eleven players who go out on the pitch. Finally, a comment on the chants about Milito and Balotelli which could inflame the derby: “It’s the fans’ opinions and that is how I look at these chants. However, I’m talking about the match and the derby will be combative.”
