Sky Sport interviewed Inter’s Andrea Stramaccioni in Coverciano in connection to Panchina d’Oro and the questions were obviously focused on yesterday’s loss: “I have not had the opportunity to analyze this collapse with my guys. Today is another day, the true Inter is not what we saw yesterday. The future? We now have two important games ahead of us and have to put yesterday’s game behind us. I have never backed away, I think I made a mistake in the assessment of my player’s energy. We knew that the Europa League would be a costly tournament, but I was not expecting that we would have to pay this much. I was mistaken by thinking that we could play these three games with the same players.”

Stramaccioni then went on to talk about the future: “My future is Inter’s future. We are always under review, the important thing is to return immediately to do well and the derby may be the right time. We do not want to devalue Europa League because what we have paid in the league has been in order to honor this European tournament. The president? He is angry and sad like the rest of us, and rightly so. We are focused on achieving a result in Romania and to win the derby.”

Inter’s coach concluded by talking about Kovacic: “He was one of the more tired players, he is a very important player, an important prospect for the future.”
