Gianluca Di Marzio has, as usual, been spot on with his reports and now, through the official website, Inter has confirmed it: John Carew will not play for Inter. Inter is, however, giving thanks to the Norwegian, in a brief statement on the website: “F.C. Internazionale would like to thank Norwegian striker John Carew for the willingness and professionalism he has shown. His present physical condition however would require him to undergo a rather lengthy period of specific individual fitness work which is not compatible with the needs of the club.”
