Our partners at FcInterNews.it interviewed Shakhtar Donetsk Romanian manager Mircea Lucescu since he together with Mazzarri, Blanc and Mhajlovic have been tipped to be the names most likely to take over the Nerazzurri hotseat in the summer. This is mostly due to Lucescu’s good relationship with President Moratti since the Romanian manager was relieved of his services as Inter manager back in 1998. Romanian media have during the past few days written that Massimo Moratti phoned Lucescu personally to enquire if he would be interested to leave the Ukraine to return back to the fashion capital in order to take over the reigns from Andrea Stramaccioni.

However, Lucescu categorically denies this when our partners at FcInterNews.it phone him: “Moratti has phoned me? [Laughs] The journalists have to have something to write about. I assure you that there is absolutely no truth to these claims” Lucescu states.
