Since Mourinho left for the spanish powerhouse Real Madrid we certainly lost our place in the world of football. Inter’s hunger for more success has been misled due to many coaches in a short period of time, in the likes of Benitez, Leonardo, Gasperini, Ranieri and finally Stramaccioni.

Leonardo was the only one after Mourinho’s two year spell to make us feel like “Pazza Inter”. Loved by the fans and many others Leonardo left Inter in the summer.

One year after Leonardo left us, Moratti had enough. Our club was in the middle of a storm with bad attitude, bad results and inconsistency. Our club president also saw our rivals AC Milan and Juventus starting to climb out of the darkness we had kept them in since 2006. So who was the right man for the job? Another big name or something different?

Andrea Stramaccioni, A young man with vision who isn’t afraid of trying anything when it comes to tactics and formations.

Andrea Stramaccioni, A young man who never coached a senior team in his life, fought in three competitions until two weeks ago.

A man who deserves more applauses than being criticised by fans who only looks at the results and nothing else. Keep in mind that the injury list has been the worst some of you has experienced with Inter. Despite all of this he’s still in Coppa Italia, in the semifinals fighting it out with Roma. With only 9 games left on this campaign in the Serie A, he has seven points up to the third place with a game in hand.

Stramaccioni has also done a great job when it comes to youth players. We’ve seen 13 new players brought up from the Primavera, something that never occurred in our history.
