Jose Mourinho and Mircea Lucescu are unlikely to sit on Inter bench next season if Andrea Stramaccioni is replaced.

Mourinho’s time at Real Madrid is expected to be finished this summer and has therefore been linked with the club he led to the triple in 2010. According to Spanish media, the 50-year-old is pushing for a return to Chelsea despite the options of Inter and Paris Saint-Germain.

Meanwhile, Lucescu has signed a two-year extension with the Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk. The Romanian coach is a former Inter manager as president Massimo Moratti hired in 1998-99.

Reports in Italy suggest that Stramaccioni, who was hired a year ago, could be in trouble if Nerazzurri fail to qualify for the Champions League.
