Inter channel interviewed Tommaso Rocchi after the game against Atalanta:
“Football is decided by episodes and there were many doubtful ones tonight. We should’ve done better at 3-1, vi lost 3-4 and let 3 goals in. We should’ve payed more attention. There were a couple of situations that I was in, Scaloni and Stendardo said they pulled mine and Ranocchias shirt. I just want to know what the additional goal line referee does, a lot is done to create more collaboration between the referees but this is still missing. Today it was very clear that we were punished.”
Rocchi also scored his 100th goal in the Serie A today and commented this:
“It was a liberation for me to score. It was important since I didn’t score for a longer time and because I’ve had a tough season. I haven’t had continuity and my physics just as my mental strength haven’t been good enough. Today I was very charged and had the will to do well, and I scored. It made me very happy, but I can’t enjoy the goal fully because I play in an important team that I wish does well with my help. When you score here at the San Siro it’s always nice, you can hear the roar of the crowd in a special way. we wanted it to finish in another way. I knew I had to take responsibility today, I haven’t played a lot until now. I know I’ll receive more chances and I’ll do everything to stand ready mentally to take the rest of the games on. I’m the only fit striker in the team.”
Ricky Alvarez had a good game as well:
