Corriere dello Sport reports that the large amount of injuries this season has forced the club to look into the pitches used for training at the clubs training ground in Appiano Gentile to see if the pitches have in any way made the teams injury matters worse this season. The pitches at Appiano Gentile are reportedly of the same material as the ones in San Siro, namely natural grass reinforced with synthetic grass.
