Representatives of Atletico Madrid are quoted in Spanish media as having denied that the club will soon sign Catania’s Alejandro Gomez. According to reports in the Spanish press the Madrid outfit showed an interest in the player a few months back but “the player is no longer a priority for us” un-named sources close to the club are quoted as saying.
