The future of Inter’s former goalkeeper Julio Cesar is still very much up in the air after his current club QPR were relegated from the Premier League. Persistant rumours in the British press state that Arsenal will make a move to snatch the Brazilian number 1 from QPR, but the manager of his current club denies having heard anything from the Gunners: “Julio is the Brazilian national teams number 1 goalkeeper and of course he wants to keep playing at the highest level. Pur relegation is obviously a problem for him. He wants to play in the World Cup next summer and staying here and playing in the Championship doesn’t exactly help his cause. Arsenal? Who knows, all I can say is that I haven’t recieved a phone call from Wenger yet.”
