TuttoMercatoWeb reports that should Matias Silvestre turn down Parma’s offer, another player could be included as payment in the deal which will take Ishak Belfodil to Inter and Cassano to Parma, besides the cash which Inter have put on the table. Silvestre is reportedly very close to declining Parma’s offer as he wishes to continue playing for Inter or alternatively sign for another big Italian club. The player believes this is possible despite his abysmal season with Inter as he believes that his previous stints with Catania and Palermo testify to his quality.
Therefore, Parma director Leonardi has identified Joel Obi as a possible target to take Silvestre’s place of the Argentinian defender should decline Parma’s offer.
