In an interview with calciomercato.it, Cristian Chivu’s agent Victor Becali confirmed that the player wants to stay at Inter and also excluded the possibility of a move to Panathinaikos or Turkey: “Panathinaikos, in my opinion can’t afford to acquire a player like Chivu. I don’t know who makes up these absurd rumors. Nor is there any offers from Turkey as it has been written. As we’ve already said, Cristian wants to respect his contract with Inter and I think he will remain in Milan.”
