Walter Mazzarri was interviewed about what teams he cheered for when he was young and he mentioned some of the players from La Grande Inter of the 60’s:
Considering how you act, it seems you’ve always been an Interista, don’t say you’ve been that since childhood…
“I’m not lying. As a child, I cheered for Fiorentina and Antognoni. But as an adult, I have always cheered for my own teams.”
And who did you like in Inter when you grew up?
“Corso for his left foot, Mazzola for his class and then I admired Facchetti’s great elegance.”
