I’m going crazy, I can’t stand it any more. Isla is an Inter-player. He is going through his medicals now. No actually he is not going through his medicals, but a deal is going to be done. No a deal is not going to be done since Conte stopped it all. Van der Wiel, Wallace, Janmaal. Dragovic loves Inter. Wellinton, Nainggolan, BLA BLA BLA. I’m going crazy. Feralpi Salò, Vicenza, Trentino team. Pre-season practice, extremely shitty streams with a hundred of adverts for a boring game, I’m going crazy. Thohir, not Thohir, Moratti, 20%, 80%, I’m going crazy. Kovacic is injured, I’m going to get a heart attack, no it seems to be cool. I’m still going crazy.

This is what happens during the period of the year that fittingly enough is called silly season. A period where fans can’t get to see their teams play football in the championship and where at best we will be watching games against Chelsea or Real Madrid in the USA. A period where I probably watch at least five Inter videos a day in order to not go crazy. Videos from the last few seasons, goals scored, maybe a single player or why not the brilliant treble video made by Devious, “Il Triplete”.

Soon enough I’ll know that whole video without even having to watch it. During all of this madness, with exactly a month until the championship starts again, Serie A still hasn’t released their schedule. I can’t plan any trips to look forward to. I’m going crazy. I can however see a light in this darkness. I’m honest enough to say that last season tired me out, and when it ended I was probably the happiest man in the world, but now the will to see my Inter is greater than ever. A real Inter, the Inter I know with a clear tactical idea and a tough coach who will make San Siro the fortress it was once upon a time. The light in the dark? Well today the schedule for the Coppa Italia was released. Inter are playing their first official game on the 18th of August. If Inter make it through to the round of 16, they will face Udinese and if Inter are to make it to the Coppa Italia quarter final(Di Natale permitting), we will most probably be facing Milan in a derby. A derby that for now is extremely far away, but that is worth starting to dream about. A full San Siro stadium, and a single knock out game against Milan in the Coppa Italia quarter final….

Or why not put the dreams to the side and start looking forward to when the schedule for the Serie A is drawn on Monday, when we won’t have to dream about possible games, but will get clear answers on when we can look forward to see our team play a game that matters again. When we know that we can start telling our friends and family that Inter plays Juventus in a week, then things may be a bit different. Soon enough the long wait, the mercato and the shitty streams for a shit game against Feralpi Salò will be just a memory, and the season will begin. I’m going crazy, but when the season starts I’ll only be crazy about Inter. Pazzo di te..
