Gianluca Di Marzio reports on his website that Inter have made an attempt to get involved in the race to sign the Under 20 French international midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia: “An attempt but probably one made in vain. Today Inter’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio met with Nelio Lucas who is the owner of Doyen Sports which owns part of the rights of the player. Inter’s directors wanted to examine if there was a window of opportunity to try to sign the player but Real Madrid have practically signed the Sevilla midfielder.”
