According to Corriere dello Sport, Massimo Moratti and Erick Thohir have not only have been talking about stocks and bank guarantees during the last days meetings but also Inter’s transfer market. The newspaper reports that Thohir must begin to invest in the January transfer window to aim at the first three places that guarantee qualification for the Champions League. With the funds currently availible they have not been able to find neither a winger nor a midfielder that Mazzarri needs. Moratti and Thohir have come to the conclusion that the squad must be completed shortly to reach the revenues of 30-40 million euros arising from the Champions League.
