Milito after the primavera game: “The worst has passed. I felt very good today”

Diego Milito player 45 minutes with the primavera today and was interviewed by Inter Channel:

“The worst period is past me and it was great to play with this guys. The supporters are my strength and I hope everything goes well for the team this season. I have missed the field a lot and I’m very satisfied with being back on a football pitch after six months. I’m still missing the game-rythm, but I came here to play with the primavera just because of this. If I liked it? Yes a lot, it was my choice to come here to play against Brescia to put minutes in my legs. I know many of the guys because they’ve played with us on the pre season and today I felt very well. I want to thank the guys for how they welcomed me.”

Milito then comments the many supporters who were there to cheer him on today, and the many who are waiting for his comeback:

“The support given to me from the fans has been incredible. As I’ve always said, the fans are my strength and the goal I’ve set in my mind is to come back in the best form to give the Inter supporters a lot of satisfaction because they deserve it. Lets hope that Inter will be protagonists this season to give the supporters what they deserve.”
