Javier Zanetti met Capri’s local Inter Club and he thanked all the fans who come to meet him and of course he spoke about Inter’s fantastic start of the season: “I think Inter and Napoli are the favorites in the league. We started well and we hope to have continuity and be there until the end and fight for something important. The grounds are there in order to do so and I hope we can do it. My rehabilitation is going well, we are on the last part. I hope to train with my teammates as soon as possible.”
In the interview published in Il Mattino, the Inter captain also talked about the change of ownership: “It’s an important thing for the club, for this great family that is Inter. I’m Sure he’ll do everything for the club to become more significant, and even greater.”
He also talked about his compatriot Gonzalo Higuain, the striker who is successful in Napoli: “He is a fantastic striker, he showed it in Real and does it now in Naples.”
On Napoli: “It’s a good team, they will fight to the end for the league title. We hope to play a good game when we meet them, but I hope that Inter will win.”
