Samir Handanovic who is the goalkeeper who has let in the fewest goals in the Serie A, together with Morgan De Sanctis was interviewed by SkySport24 before the game against Fiorentina:
“We are improving and we are starting to know eachother better. We’ve just played a few games and we’ll see in the 20th rond how we are doing. The most important thing is to play like a team.”
Inter’s defense is playing better this season:
“If there are fewer shots against me it’s because everyone is doing better, we are working like a team that is practising more on tactics and the defense, which means we are on the right way. We’re only in the 5th round and now there are three games ahead of us that will say a lot. It won’t change much though because we started greatly last season as well. If we had a loser mentality last season? I wouldn’t say it’s correct to see that, on the field the work that has been done during the week is seen. I honestly think we needed a season like the last one, because Inter has changed a bit now. The target now is to come back to playing in Europe.”
