Tuttosport – Inter record a loss of 81 million Euro’s, the club risks…

Tuttosport reports today about the state of Inter’s finances and explains why the club doesn’t run the risk of being excluded from participating in the European competitions next seasons despite the Financial Fair Play rules which UEFA has enacted.

During the season 2012/2013 Inter recorded a loss of 81 million Euro’s but UEFA’s rules allows the injection of fresh capital up to the sum of 45 million Euro’s per year. The problem is that Moratti has already during 2012 provided the club with 35 million Euro’s which means that the debt ceiling allowed by UEFA will be breached. However there are several mitigating factors which are in favor of the club, mainly the enormous effort the club has put into reducing the wage bill, an effort which has been nothing short of dramatic during these past 3 seasons and which purtain that the worst that can happen is that the club is fined by UEFA.
