Hellas Verona’s head coach Andrea Mandorlini was interviewed by Rai, and he regretted the large number of goalscoring chances that Hellas allowed their opponents: “When you play on a stadium like this you need to concede very little, we conceded four goals and we were made to pay for it. We made a lot of mistakes and it went like this. We could have re-opened the game through Luca Tonis goal, which I think should have counted, but we definitely allowed Inter to create too many chances and they did a god job out of converting them. Inter played with another attitude, it should have been the other way around but we were a bit timid in the beginning. Luca Toni is an important player for us, he is a good example in every way and a model to follow for the many young players in the team. We still need to grow as a team, and negative experiences like this one can also be helpful in that process”.
