The Italian football world mourns the striker Amadeo Amadei who passed away today at the age of 92 years. Amadei was mostly famous for being a great striker and was a key player when Roma won their first scudetto during the season 1941/1942. Even though he is mostly famous for the time in Roma, Amadei played at Inter in two years. During one of his games he scored a hattrick against Milan when Inter turned a 1-4 result around to 6-5. At the stadium during that day a very young Massimo Moratti was present. When Inter celebrated their 100th anniversary Massimo Moratti remembered the game as the one that made him fall in love with Inter. Amadei played 234 goals for Roma, 70 for Inter and 171 for Napoli. The Italian football world is mourning the striker and we thank him for making Massimo Moratti an Interista.
