Gaby Mudingayi was interviewed by Inter Channel after today’s match against Sampdoria at the San Siro where he made a comeback to action after being sidelined for a long time due to injury.

“A match like this isn’t easy to analyze, unfortunately we conceded a goal but now we have to focus on working hard for the match against Parma.”

Sampdoria deserved to win against Lazio, now they managed to get a draw here today…

“This is what makes football beautiful, you can win and lose all the way until the end. We always try to win, today we were unable to win but we’ll try to get back to winning ways in these coming fixtures.”

In the second half it seemed as if Inter were less aggressive than in the first half. Is this due to physical or mental reasons?

“Well, they played good football still we tried to attack them all the time. Unfortunately we weren’t able to do what we wanted to do.”

Is the lingering feeling after this match a sense of bitterness over yet another opportunity missed in closing in on Napoli?

“Yes it’s true. This also happened against Bologna. For our position in the league, for our mentality dropping points against the smaller teams isn’t exactly the best thing. We have to try to recuperate these points that we’ve lost along the road.”
