Djorkaeff: “I see myself as a sporting director or the president’s right hand”

Youri Djorkaeff was interviewed by French Journal du Dimanche and talked about his future in the world of football: “Today the big clubs are in need of profiles like former players, like world champions from 1998, because we have international experience and an ability to discuss with investors. Right now I can’t see myself as a coach, rather as sporting director or the president’s right hand.”

Finally the former Inter player made no secret of the fact that he’s had contacts with Inter: “The discussions I had with Inter has gone in that direction, but at the moment I don’t think it will happen, I’m not in that context.”
