Samir Handanovic was interviewed by Inter Channel and had following things to say:
“We tried but it was a hard game and we knew that. The goal? I made a big mistake and I’m sorry for the game, for my teammates and for everything. Noone said anything during half time, but it is easy to speak when you win. You have to be honest and take responsibility when you lose as well and I assume my responsibilities.”
Are draws like this necessary to make a young group grow?
“It is better to win. In Bologna and today we should’ve won, against Sampdoria we can’t say much because they played better than us and deserved their points. We will see what happens.”
Now games against Milan and Napoli are coming up:
“All games are tough for us. We must always give our all and have the will to win every game. We have drawn to many games but we look forward.”
